Homestead life on a budget means one thing: if we can build it ourselves… we probably will 😂 So my husband turned an old wooden desk, some bolts and a chainsaw into what we’re now calling THE CHAINSAW CHOP STATION 🌲 It’s helping us cut branches for the chicken runs, sort firewood for the smallholding and even gives us free wood shavings for chicken coop bedding 🐓 Honestly the level of chaotic DIY engineering on this homestead is getting out of hand 😂 This is your reminder that smallholding and homesteading doesn’t have to look perfect or expensive. Half the time it’s just making things work with what you’ve already got lying around.
