The shells used to have colours but the victorians used gas lamps to light it up and they faded

There’s a shell grotto where I live in south wales up on the mountain it’s beautiful inside. They have Father Christmas inside it for the children too visit at Christmas time

I went there a while back, looks very cool, there was an information plaque at the time saying that they used to perform séances there.
