@alexouthwaite: Where would guess the largest church in the world was? ⁉️ I bet you wouldn't think it was in West Africa in Côte d'Ivoire 🇨🇮 This is the The Basilica of Our Lady of Peace of Yamoussoukro. Consecrated in 1990 it can hold 18,000 worshippers or 150,000 within its compounds. ⛪️ The acoustics inside were amazing. When I was there a mass was being performed (as it is everyday) but on Sundays it takes place on the impressive central platform. It has 7400 square metres of stained glass windows, telling stories through the brightly coloured designs.
