I stayed there as a kid and Loved it!! The nature, minimal technology, and Edward Ball ghost stories made it so fun and I've always wanted to go back!

Love the springs! The kids and are up there usually once a week in the spring and summer. (Just so the other locals don’t come for you it’s pronounced wah-KULL-uh)

It's pronounced, Wakulla, not Wookulla springs. Replace the A with a, U, my grandfather that is from the north, always calls it Wookulla.

Hey John. Thanks for visiting the park. One of the greatest parks in the system. A lot of history with the whole place used as an old film location for swamp monster movies. Winter time manatees are awesome with some of the largest springs in the world.
