I had Osaka Okonomiyaki. It was actually awful. Thin, no flavor, dry. Decided I didn’t like Okonomiyaki. Then I went to Hiroshima and decided to try again… it ended up being my favorite meal of my trip. It was SO good.

I had a lot of Okonomiyaki in Japan, but I only remember the one I had in Hiroshima. I remember how it tasted and how the restaurant looked. Hiroshima's I excellent 👌

Nah. Osaka understands that it’s very carb heavy. Pancake batter, plus noodles, plus seafood, the sauces and nothing to break it up? You get flavour fatigue so fast
