I’m a substitute teacher and I’m regularly at this one school and a grade 8 kid asked me if I can follow him on TikTok and I said no because he’s a student. Then he said “well I’m graduating grade 8 in a week so you can follow me then” and I told him to try again in 4 years when he’s an actual adult. And honestly even then it would still be weird and I would probably politely decline
