I was told by the gastroenterologist prior to diagnosis that I would not have coeliac disease because of my heritage. I did in fact have coeliac disease 😅😂

I’m of Irish decent, and I have also heard this. Basically that it was caused by the potato famine (literally false; but okay) but yeah; it is a disease that affects one race; but all 🥺
