If the floor gives when you step on it, there's water damage underneath. Walk away or negotiate hard. 2. Water stains on the ceiling or walls. Brown rings, discoloration, bubbling wallpaper. That's a leak that's been there a while. 3. Mismatched sealant on the roof or around windows. If someone globbed caulk over old sealant, they were covering a problem, not fixing it. 4. Cabinet doors that won't stay closed. Frame shift. The RV has been stressed bad leveling, rough roads, or structural flex. Check the slide seals while you're at it. 5. Musty smell when you first open the door. Don't let them air it out before you walk in. That first hit of air tells you everything. 6. No maintenance records.
