to those who wondering. Eren envision his death as a founder titan holder, deth already runs through his veins... so he wants mikasa to lessen the love she gave for him, so that when the time come mikasa will move on, that's why he faked his hate, to let mikasa live freely without the constant mourning of what happened. even if on the final moment with armin, he losses his guard and told him how much he love mikasa, that he wants mikasa to be free for more than 10 years atleast
