I got asked by an American man back in 2007 in St Louis “Do you guys use hours, minutes and seconds in England?” I swear on my life, I was STUNNNNNNED. I explained Greenwich Mean Time and then had to explain that Greenwich is a place in London where the clock is and that GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time. It was exhausting and bewildering in equal measure.

I lived in Canada for a couple of years and had the same questions! I also got asked once if we had microwaves in England and I said that we did but we struggled getting them home on our horse and carts 😂

When I was visiting the South, a server told me they loved Gordon Ramsay and I said 'omg no way, he's my uncle! Aww I'm gonna tell him you said that and hi from you!' 🤣 There's a server out there who thinks Gordon Ramsay is chuffed about the compliment 🤣
