Put the ac units in your rooms and close the doors they will work great in smaller rooms. We have done this during hurricanes using generators to run the units.

We didn’t have power for 3 weeks during hurricane Katrina and we put window units in the living room, and hung sheets up to cover the doorways to try to keep cold air in one room. Put mattresses down and had a sleep over. It was a long sleepover too lol but I’d suggest to try to just do it all in one room to contain the cold air.

girl if you don't evaporative cool rn... fr tho open a window on the north (or east) side of the house, drape a wet towel over it, then open a window on the opposite end of the house. it'll pull air through the towel to cool it off
