@jessmrizk: Not going to lie, I got way too excited when these guys reached out and asked if I’d like to try their hot sauces, and clearly I was even more excited after the first taste. The brains behind @28 States Co Indi and Aniketh, moved from India to Sydney and noticed something was missing. When most people think of Indian food, they think of curries, chutneys and the traditional sauces that come with them. Hot sauce? Not so much. So they decided to change the game. They took the bold, aromatic flavours and spices that make Indian cuisine what it is, and turned them into a range of small-batch, handmade hot sauces that can be used on just about anything, not necessarily Indian food. Tacos, fries, burgers, eggs, grilled meats... whatever’s on your plate really. It’s an easy way to add that delicious Indian flavour to everyday meals without having to cook an entire feast, and I’ve got to say, they nailed it. Which one would you try first?
