in my opinion, you can never know someone’s true intentions, so how can you discern if they did something purposefully? It’s like saying we’re determining Good and Evil, which no one but the Lord can do in my opinion. He teaches us that it is better to forgive, not forgive and forget, but forgive because keeping that animosity in our hearts hardens our hearts. A hardened heart can’t feel or understand the Love that someone with purely good intentions will try to give them, but mistake them for animosity. It’s like putting shades on in the dark, you can’t see what’s truly in front of you.
