@julietaylor062: Oh Stitch 🙏 What happened? 🥹 3-year-old Stitch is just a little different ❤️ As you can see, his adorable face is well… crooked 🥺 Our shelter had X-rays done of this little guy’s chest and skull, but they did not explain what has caused this ❤️‍🩹 Sadly, Stitch was found as a stray, so his past is a mystery, but what we do know is he is underweight, covered in scars and is suffering from heartworm disease 💔 Stitch is a sweet boy who deserves a better life than he’s had! 🥺 He loves getting treats and is getting extra goodies from us to help him gain a few pounds 🙏 He is a little fellow that is full of energy and is obsessed with playing with toys and tennis balls (we recommend durable toys for him!) ❤️ It is unknown how he is with other dogs or with cats. Stitch is a very nice pup with lots of love to give ❤️ We understand that adopting a dog with heartworm illness may sound difficult, but it’s actually very treatable and Stitch is receiving his Heartworm treatments right here in our clinic. We will continue to do this free of charge even after adoption!
