I don’t fully believe in gentle parenting. Most of us grew up with strict parenting, and it taught us discipline, resilience, and how to handle failure, criticism, and hard situations. We learned to move on, stay strong, and still find peace and happiness. These days, some kids mistake confidence for disrespect, humiliating elders, ignoring parents, struggling with rejection, and becoming emotionally weak. Balance is important: children need both love and discipline.

All these are over exaggerating. Probably both of you guys got most of it from your parents. But still you guys turned in to good human I guess. So stop experiencing and over exaggerating everything. It’s all situational and depends upon kids cuz every kids are different. I am not saying that parent should always scold their kids but u should teach them basic moral education to be a good human.
