If the students have completed all requirements needed to graduate, the school cannot legally withhold their diploma/transcripts just because the student chose not to show up for a graduation ceremony.

Schools never learn, mine ended up having to deal with 4? case of heat stroke and chronic dehydration. I suspect there were many many more lesser cases of exhaustion that went unreported.

Even if they wanted to follow tradition and hold it outdoors, they could have easily had tarps/tents. Sure it would definitely add costand possibly large depending on which type of of cover they use and the size, but that's the price for following tradition.

I graduated this year in the rain, it sucked. They should’ve paid for the damages to everyone’s cap. Only like 40% of the students graduated that day. They held another ceremony the Monday after, in a gym, it wasn’t too bad but in my opinion, they should’ve called it off. Especially with it being an 85% chance
