The pilots name was Colonel Paul Tibbets. Watched him being interviewed for a documentary. All he knew that he was carrying a big bomb. He started to get teary. Then said when he looked back. He couldn’t believe his eyes. The big mushroom cloud. He then realized the tremendous amount of destruction. Looked like the people filming the documentary had to stop the interview a couple of of times because he was so emotional.

This is what happens when you learn history from TikTok. Colonel Paul Tibbets never regretted dropping the bomb. In fact he doubled down in the interview stating he never lost even 15 minutes of sleep over it. He died in 2007 at age 92 and chose to not have a grave as it could've become a site for protectors. He was cremated and scattered over the English Channel.

I visited Hiroshima and the tree I visited in Neva d a the a rmy camp from where the pla ne and the tam took of. Hiroshima is a flowering city. Themillitary camp isdeserted and lost in the desert of Nevada

My grandpa was in Navy and My dad told me this; He went to Hiroshima after the bomb dropped and he (grandpa) Could still smell death. That was 30 days after. I don't know more details I didn't ever ask my grpa details about it.. Or about being in military.
