This perspective is at a fixed point. She was in constant motion, not hanging in one spot. Plus, her parachute was brightly colored. It was either intentional, or the “pilot” hadn’t been looking out th window for some time.

I used to fly. You’re never stagnate in the air and constantly scanning. Plus, if it’s a known jump point… it’s on the pilot.

Don't have things on your windscreen that blocks veiws. I know this from being a truck driver. I see drivers that have phone holders and cameras and VIDEO SCREENS mounted in their field of view. It no wonder that they rear-end cars.

in this picture the paraglider is above the aircraft, in the collision the paraglider was below the aircraft, visibility below the nose is very restricted 😬
