Kermit the Frog was originally made from a ping pong ball cut in half and an old green coat that belonged to Henson's mother. That is not a legend. That is just the truth. From that scrap of cloth came one of the most recognised faces on earth. Henson poured everything into his work — not for fame, but because he genuinely believed that gentleness and imagination could shift the way people see the world.
