On the 15th of May 2026, over 40 children and teachers were kidnapped from a school in Oriire Local Government, Oyo State. These are not just numbers. These are human beings. These are innocent children with dreams, families, and futures. Seeing the pain and injuries on these young faces is heartbreaking. No child deserves to be beaten, tortured, or used as a tool for pressure. Childhood should be filled with laughter, education, and hope not fear and tears. To those holding these children captive, I plead with yOU: Show mercy. These are innocent babies. Let them go safely. And to the authorities the Nigeria Police Force and Nigerian Army the people are crying out for urgent action. Our schools must be protected. Parents deserve peace of mind when their children leave home for education. Nigeria cannot continue like this. We must stand together against insecurity, kidnapping, and violence against innocent citizens. Let us raise our voices, pray for the victims, support their families, and demand justice.
