Notes from the underground is the proof you can write a book with a monologue and not have people dying of boredom

I appreciate Nietzsche. From him I built myself. I was living the underground person, bitter. Now I’m content, my values are built on goodness, and the acceptance that it is not a natural state. It is in the journey to attain goodness that you learn from it. Evil is natural, but empty. Goodness must be fought for, but it is whole. We all have a choice to take the next step forward.

he was flawed because humans are flawed, if perhaps we thought as a collective it would create a utopian singular hive mind.

I’m an old lady and I live on the grounds of a Benedictine monastery and my friend who just recently passed away was a Benedictine monk and we used to always talk about Father Zosima. Obsessed with Brothers Karamazov!

Dostoevsky understood human beings so well that it’s as if he was there when God created them.

You will love the dialogue between Aliocha and Ivan, in Brother's Karamazov, they basically discuss about the idea of God and how impactful it is to everyone, no matter if ot is in the absence of a religious belief our the presence of it.

Carl Jung has answered that question. Read his critique to thus spoke zaratrusta where he points out what Nietzsche got wrong…. In summary Nietzsche was mostly on right path but lacked a container so went into neurosis… you would need to also read abt Jung theory on individuation to fully understand

Wow, you did so great. I hate to read. I found out late in life after struggling with reading my entire life that I have dyslexia. On occasion I walk on hot coals and read a book. You have me intrigued enough to read Dostoevsky.
