No joke, but you should make yourself play like a noob sometimes. Not necessarily online (and never in competitive game modes) but definitely play like you have no clue how it works. Play a build that isn't optimal but has a silly feature. Pick the most bright and obnoxious colors for any customizable gear. Or take it the other way and spend way too long on each detail of your characters outfit until people scream "it's an rpg! You don't need to look good, just get better gear!" Take paths that you'd normally never take. Dance at an enemy in the hopes that they'll just vibe for a sec.
