They didn’t just add titanium dioxide to boost the SPF. They also added Butyloctyl Salicylate which is almost identical to the chemical filter octisalate in both form and function. Because of an FDA loophole, it is not required to be listed as an active ingredient. Sunscreen companies have exploited this loophole to boost the SPF of their sunscreens while still claiming to be a 100% mineral . They also added Ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate which is a similar story. Chemical filters aren’t innately bad, but it’s misleading to call it a 100% mineral formula. The new one burns my extremely sensitive rosacea prone skin.

As a super oily skin girl I loved the og formula & the new one leaves me veryyy dewy towards the later half of the day but I still enjoy the formula it just sucks to not work as well for my oils now

As a certified sweaty gworlie, why oh why are so many mineral spfs not water resistant. This is my one issue with that sunscreen, which I looove during the winter (less sweaty) months

The original was my fave too. The addition of butyl salicylate makes it a no for me as I’m allergic to salicylates.
