always make sure you have at least one thing you can tell yourself that you can work on. even with little to no saturn energy in your chart, never use astrology to stroke ur ego and look at what looks shiny and pretty to you, you don't have to struggle in life but living a life where you have no personal goals or even just active energy invested into yourself is pointless.

This. I was able to predict my father losing his job with scary accuracy, within a month. I was able to back-track deaths that have occurred based off transiting planets over the houses. Actual astrology is REAL.

I can see where you're coming from and I definitely do think that Astrology is a wonderful Divination tool but my life has genuinely improved since aligning myself with my Birth Chart placements. So I don't think we should be brushing off either side.

It pisses me off when people say they don’t like certain astrology types or don’t agree with an aspect of astrology because it doesn’t resonate with them. Your chart is your life story, not your personality.

I think astrology becomes problematic when people start treating it as objective truth rather than symbolic interpretation. Human behaviour is way too complex to reduce to star signs alone. Millions of people share the same traits, habits, strengths, flaws, humour, attachment styles, etc., without sharing the same zodiac sign. A lot of what people see as “proof” can also be confirmation bias, remembering the moments that fit the sign while ignoring the contradictions. So when someone says “that’s such a Virgo thing,” it can end up sounding more like stereotyping than actual insight. I can appreciate astrology more when it’s used symbolically, psychologically, or as a reflective tool rather than as a fixed explanation for why people are the way they are.

Astrology actually has calculations that can be used for data predictions. In the past, astrology had much more detailed calculations not just about personality traits, but about a person’s life from childhood until death. Nowadays, it’s mostly simplified into personality descriptions, which people subconsciously find relatable because the traits given are too general lol.

when i read charts for others, i definitely focus on pointing out what they could struggle / excel at, rather than saying “you’re organized because you’re a virgo” lmao people tend to take it a lot more seriously that way, it’s a lot more personalized

Ngl, I think both Modern and Traditional Astrology are very accurate as hell. At least that is my experience. Sometimes Modern is accurate for some situations, and other Vedic and/or Traditional is also eerily precise; for that reason, I refuse to fall into the “Oh, this one is incorrect and full of sh**” when, in my opinion, none of them are superior, they are just unique. They should be integrated and used together for better reading. Falling into the “Oh, but in Ancient times we had better astrologers, and they were more informed…” it’s also very dangerous since neither they nor modern astrologers are working with all the info that’s out there, I’m pretty sure we still have a long road to go in terms of Astrology or even the Universe.

I know what people say “Astrology tells you the destination but you decide the journey” but how much can I change the journey when the circumstances are prewritten?
