Whenever people say Healthcare in this country is broken they're not looking at the factors that bought us here. Look at the group that's against universal healthcare and look at the groups who have been trying to defund our education, public transit, social security, infrastructure (more specifically roads, tunnels and bridges) and channels like pbs. We can also look through history and how minorities (including women) have been treated and how legislation has been used to disempower and disenfranchise them.

You also have these private labs who don’t give a shit about patient care running the show. Can’t tell you how many times in the two years I handled (for next to nothing pay for what I had to deal with) about insurance getting denied by LabCorp and my company. I threw them all in the trash or faxed it to my company. Then the patient would get the bill with no explanation or warning. These people and companies don’t care
