I’ve always done a mixed load. Besides towels and brand new jeans. New jeans do tend to rub off. Everything else goes in one load. Never had a problem🤣

And that’s how overtime your colorful clothes get gray and your whites dull and your black clothes aren’t as dark anymore, I separate by color the clothes I care about to wash and then dry everything together lol

well if you have a lot of white or light pastel colors i.e baby pink, baby blue , butter yellow etc and wash that with black, gray etc you will have a weird tint on your light clothes that gets transferred it sort of “dulls” out and makes the colors look more gray so if u have clothes like that def do dark and light seperate
