After enduring 6 grueling hours of complete pain on the cross and a crown of thorns in His head, a torn back and bent over carrying the cross up the hill and more He went to hell. There, He paid your debt. According to Romans 6:23, we will go to hell for sin. But, Jesus went there for us and rose from the dead. He defeated sin and death and Satan and demon. John 3:16-18, “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. 17: God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the world through Him. 18: Whoever believes in Him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believe in the name of God’s one and only Son.” Also, 1 John 1:9 says, “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” Finally, James 2:19 says, “You believe that there is one God, good even the demons believe that and shudder.” Works do not save you but are evidence that you are truly saved because according to Ephesians 2:8-9, salvation is a gift. There is a lot of evidence that God is real and I encourage you with love to search some things up or pray or read and try to learn more about it and maybe give it a try!
