Write our names side by side. Forgive us and our parents for our sins. Ya Rabbi, protect him, make him one of Your greatest servants. Ya Rabbi, don’t replace me in his heart and him in mine. Make him good for me and me good for him in this life and the hereafter. Ya Allah, don’t let him and me be someone else’s. Ya Rabbi, soften his heart towards me. Ya Allah, You know what my heart feels. Ya Allah, grant him strength, wisdom, and rizq (sustenance), bless his work and make him responsible and steadfast. Ya Allah, lower his and my gaze, and keep us away from haram. Ya Rabbi, please accept all the duas that we make for each other. May Allah reunite us in the most beautiful halal way through marriage.
