Lemme spread the gospel rq Jesus was persecuted because of his teachings and put on the cross by us. If you don’t know why the cross was important he had to carry it and it was over 300lbs he had to carry this while being stabbed and whipped. (The whips were literally made to rip off his skin.) And while a crown made of thorns was literally pressing into his skull. ( The crown was for mockery.) Now listen up because this is where it gets crazy. Jesus didn’t have to do all that. He could’ve called his Angels to come down and save him but he chose not to because in the Bible it says the wages of sin is death and everyone has sinned except Jesus he had never sinned. Meaning if u wanted to be forgiven for your sins you would’ve had to carry the cross as-well, but Jesus knew we couldn’t so because he loved us so much he died for us on the cross. Jesus didn’t even have to do that because he hadn’t ever committed a sin so he had nothing to pay but he loved us so much he did it. When he took the wages for our sin his father / God seen him as a sinner and saw us as him / never committing a sin. So Jesus’s father seen him as a sinner for something he never had done but because he loved us so much he payed for our sin
