Come check out Fort Wayne before they use the bathroom excuse of NEVER MAINTAINING IT as a reason to sell it to private investors. Don't take Jefferson it is PERMANENTLY UNDER CONSTRUCTION.

I’ve been many times as a kid and would always get visions that felt like I was walking through it when it was active. Seeing people on the bunks, peaking corners, or just even walking across the fields.

I volunteered from 2019-2024 the reason it has been so run down lately is because the city took it over and completely kicked the coalition and volunteers out so we are not able to do any of the brick restoration that we used to because it takes a specific paste on the limestone also yes it is very haunted I have given tours, reenacted and given the ghost tours most weekends we would be there until 3 am cleaning up and having access to different buildings at night I would say the old school would probably be the most haunted especially the basement which was where the old archive was but only the city has the keys now I don’t know if they’re doing anything more as of lately but I know they just put out some sort of documentary of the Fort.

I’ve heard doors slam in distant areas of the building we were in when we did an investigation years ago. Nobody was in those areas and our group was together the whole time.

i went with my daughters and niece. I went in one tunnel they went in another and when we finally caught up to each other my daughter was asking me why I was trying to scare her because she heard me whisper behind her but I never was in the same tunnel as her
