My grandpa had a garden when I was growing up. I would "find green tomatoes that fell off the vine" and ask him to fry them for me. 🤣 That man knew they didn't fall off, but he never got angry with me. He'd fry them up for me, sit with me while I ate and we'd go about our day. 🥰

I fry zucchini slices the same way, if you’ve ever had a garden you know those sneaky zucchini hide and grow fast. It’s yummy too!
