My dad passed away 4 years ago. It s so interesting. Last week, I watched a video of my dad and smiled. Today I watched a video of my dad and then stood in my kitchen, staring aimlessly at the floor. Sometimes I need to talk about the happy memories to get through it and other days, I feel like I have to talk about the worst parts of it to get through it. Grief is such a puzzle, sometimes the pieces fit and make sense while other times, it feels like you’re trying to solve the completely wrong one. It’s very strange.

It’s been 4 years since I lost my older brother, and sometimes I even feel guilty when I try to be happy. It also feels so strange that I’ve now surpassed him in age when he was supposed to be 3 years older than me :(

There is no right and wrong with grieving there is no time limit on the amount that you will grieve for people that have brought you into this world that made you the person that you are. I wasn’t given that opportunity because it was taken away from me because my mum‘s family made it all about themselves and now after losing somebody who was very special to me Back in April my grief has really hit me hard and I’m allowing the tears the anger the upset everything to flow
