Same way I’m constantly frustrated that Assad is never in promo despite Armand being the 2nd most important character in TVC as a whole AND The Vampire Lestat book… it’s weird atp especially because as much as I love Eric Bogosian, Daniel doesn’t exist outside of Armand in the books and Gabrielle’s actor is everywhere despite her once again not really being as important a character

The way amc (mis)handled promotion and awards during the run of the first two seasons is honestly so frustrating. We as fans have been trying to scream from the rooftops that our main actors should be nominated for all the awards, (Jacob I will carve out an emmy for you, istg) and it’s so predictable how TVL is going to be handled during upcoming awards season when the acting has been so consistently breathtaking since day one. I will cheer and holler for the show to get nominated, of course, but we can all see how amc handled it up until now ☹️

IWTV needed the same promo that the new season is getting. Jacob and both actresses for Claudia are PHENOMENAL. As a huge Lestat fan I’m severely disappointed with the way AMC handled the transition and the initial marketing for s1 & 2.

THEY WERE ROBBED!!! Jacob and Assad for their argument for Episode 5 in season 2 ALONE deserved an Emmy. It inspired my own writing. Delainey deserved an Emmy for the entire second season. I loved Claudia in season one but Delianey really took her there in season 2

Delaney was genuinely outstanding I mean everyone was superb but coming into a show as a recast is really hard and she was just phenomenal- Claudia was my favourite character in season one and I was initially sad to see that she was going to be recast but now I’m so glad we got to have two incredible Claudias
