Oh my gosh black tea adds so many possibilities!! There is also a lot of variation in black tea- if you can drink it loose leaf might work really nice as you do not need milk for it to taste really good and it can be so rich and cosy

Most caffeine is released early in the steeping process. If you want more flavor with less caffeine let the tea bag soak in a separate dish of hot water for about ten seconds and then move the bag to your mug and you can let it steep in your mug for longer for more flavor.

It counts! You could try to find a decaf version of the tea and use it to make as a base for you chia pudding!

Tea counts, if you want the flavour without the caffeine, dip the tea bag in water for 20 seconds, discard, then make a cup of tea. The caffeine is released really quickly so there will be minimal left for the second cup of tea

I have a friend who is allergic to caffeine. she taught me something about doing a short first steep, then discarding that water as the caffeine mostly came out first, then she could drink the second steep. I mean, don't take my word for it, but it might be useful

no calories so I wouldn't count it as food typically since there's no energy given... but in your case from an exposure standpoint I would count it!
