so I'm autistic and it's one of the first things that I told my ex and throughout our whole relationship he would make jokes calling me Einstein and then when I stopped giving him fun facts or giving him useful information or even remembering where he put things and started saying I don't know, he didn't really seem to like that very much that I didn't know anything when in reality I just stopped providing him knowledge that he didn't want to Source on his own.

I find that they're also extremely inconsiderate of other people. they literally do not think of other ppl before doing things. idk y they're always trying to compete with everyone about everything, but it's worse with women because they have to win. I once said "I'm as strong as the average man" and he kept arguing with me while completely misunderstanding the math term of average. tbh I don't really care how strong I am, I just hate when people assume I'm not solely based on my afab status, because I don't (or at least didn't) look physically weak

I was with my ex for 7 years, he either outright told me, or hinted that I was stupid daily. I still struggle to see myself as anything but stupid 11 years later. The worst part is, he isn't even that smart himself, whereas I have multiple degrees 🙄

I had very bad social skills growing up partly I believe because of upbringing and partly because we were always moving around. I was always the new kid so I tended to either be ignored or bullied. even with all that I never once blamed women for not being interested, I blamed myself. I understood that I was too shy, too awkward, and too afraid of rejection (cant expect a girl to go out with you if you're terrified of talking to them about dating). didn't stop me from being lonely, but I understood it was all something only I could change. took until I was 35, but now my spouse and I can be socially awkward together ❤️.
