In my store it’s the OPPOSITE. Morning shifts ALWAYS cleans before 12 pm. Fix donuts, clean all counters and equipment, sweep and mop, clean drains, dishes, EVERYTHING. But the next morning NOTHING is stocked and it’s a mess. 🙄

As one who works both at a dunking, and afternoon, morning shift is way busier, there for most tasks are simple and minimalist mistakes are expected, nights shifts are extremely slow, therefore works are expected and perfection is assumed

Receipts covering the floor, muchkins everywhere, 7 different spills that never got cleaned up, everything in the food station in the wrong spot, 3 different pots of coffee that are empty and no one said anything about, and the frozen machine is is covered in something 😭

I work at a taco bell, ive done both openings and closing shifts. it goes both ways, but I have to say night shift is worse but that depends on location. lobby closes at 11, drive thru at 1 am and we close at 2am.
