NTA shes his friend, she his responsibility. 'that's dumb' isnt a reason to not include her in the grooms side. if my fiance was pushing this after I ahd already said no and for good reason I would be straight away telling him if he tries to push someone on me who doesnt like me we wont be getting married. you put your spouses feelings before your friends, if he's not ready to do that then he's not ready to get married.
