In many cases, such persons possessed substantial evidence showing their connection with Pakistan and their entitlement to citizenship rights. There are also numerous people who held POR cards, ACC cards, Afghan passports, or visas and were residing legally in Pakistan. Depending upon the facts and legal framework, remedies may still exist under Pakistani citizenship and immigration laws. Citizenship and identity issues are not merely administrative matters — they involve constitutional protections, due process, and the right to be heard. Pakistani courts have granted relief in various constitutional petitions where individuals were denied fair opportunity or wrongly treated without lawful procedure.
