@g.o.a.t.songs: The Cuppycake Song is a beloved children's tune originally recorded in 1994 by three-year-old Amy Castle, with lyrics and music by her mother, Judianna Castle. It first gained viral fame online in 1996 via a simple WAV file on the family's website and has since exploded on platforms like TikTok, amassing over 2.8 million videos and 1 billion plays by late 2023. It appears on the 1994 album Balloons, a collection of original family-inspired songs for kids, produced by Buddy Castle. The original home studio recording of Amy singing went viral decades later through YouTube uploads and social media remixes, animations, and covers, touching listeners worldwide with its innocent charm.
