It’s funny bc it’s been the leftists attacking Paris all week. They identify as leftists not liberals. And that checks out bc leftists are the ones who love to purity test people. That’s why you saw all the leftists dog pile Kamala but have ZERO smoke for DJT at his rallies. They did the same to Paris. A ‘woke’ leftist mob attacked a Black lesbian woman at the urging of a white lesbian woman and then a week of in fighting and attacks and nonsense have ensued. And not a single trans woman was made safer for it but they don’t care. They are all about holier than thou shaming and white supremacist perfectionism tactics. It’s insufferable and a big reason we can make real progress. The Alt Right recruits. The Alt Left eats their own.

A civil rights lawyer speaking on this topic recently said this: “visibility does not always equal progress.” I agree, as someone unquestionably left-leaning, I do have concerns with the amount of performative activism occurring rather than seeking to make any actual real progress. If anything, it has become increasingly fractured, mainly because many do not seem to want to have any discourse whatsoever. I speak with plenty of people I disagree with; we can still have a conversation and leave that conversation with a better understanding of one another.
