When I was 6 I took a driver to a green and my dad literally never invited me golfing again. Now he and my brother and sister all go together and my sister just won farthest drive at a comp, but y’know, I guess I fucked up lol.

Agreed! My dad was literally a PGA pro and I hated golf and golfing with him!!! I Love golf now and wish I could play with him now.

I’m happy I picked up golf on a whim in high school. I’m still not the best but I have a solid foundation and got to develop my skills and play for free! Those were the days

same. my dad used to try to make me go to the driving range to start learning how to play. He said " you need to learn to marry a millionaire ". He was correct, I married "a poor", but thankfully I was self made and didnt need to marry money😂
