You guys this was just a panic mid way up because in this type of climbing you’re anchored in and can’t turn back till you finish the route! I was scared and didn’t think I could finish. I like climbing but had only ever top roped on easy routes before this so was not prepared. He invited me without telling me what it would entail or that I couldn’t simply turn back and would have to climb 4 pitches straight without a break. We are still friends! Going climbing here again soon. This is just our sibling dynamic haha we always do stuff like this together since we’ve been kids
