The sequoia trees wrap their roots around each other under ground to hold themselves up, and they drop new seeds during forest fires and from lightning, things that would normally kill any tree. They’re the most resilient organisms alive, while also lending a helping hand to one another. It’s no wonder they’ve become what they are.

Wile stationed in Cali, I set up a group road trip to the Redwoods and everybody cancelled…I already paid, so drove the 10 hrs myself and don’t regret a second. Humbling, awe-inspiring….tears flowed once or twice…I will return with my babies before I die
