As someone who also has degrees both in science and theology, people don’t understand how powerful it is when you combine the search for physical truths with the search for spiritual truths. This encyclical is a prime example of how important it is for our advances in science and technology to have a strong ethical and moral underpinning - neither exists on its own. It is essential to the dignity of humanity.

Not everything is Anti. He’s Pro-Human, he see what is good and valuable about humanity and wants to preserve it. He sees the threats that technology can have, not to just our lives but our values, morals and ethics which far more dangerous and insidious.
