I’m a teacher, I’m greatly saddened that the school didn’t investigate, & school professionals are supposed to to protect children!!! The child happened to be a nonverbal, but even if a child is a verbal child as adults some children get that type of abuse At Home and we were our mandatory reporters. Then there are instances like this where they’re literally being abused in the school and can’t defend themselves.. it greatly upsets me that not only did this teacher pick on a child abuse a child but this teacher picked on a nonverbal child and that is unacceptable across-the-board to pick on any child. As a teacher, we are there to put no bowling in the schools and yet this teacher broke that vow not only did that teacher break the vow, but they also abused the child.. I am able to say that I am very happy that this mother suspected and took manners into her own hands, but I personally feel like this teacher should be placed in prison versus jail for the rest of her life. I am using talk to text, but and I’m very upset and crying at this point because of the abuse of this poor child and if this teacher was doing it to one child, we know that teacher is most likely doing it too many others and that’s not how it’s supposed to be in any part of the world.
