my main issue is why on Earth Ryan ceased to have powers, when it is previously-established that he does not rely on Compound V for his powers, as his body naturally produces it. - Sure, he might be powerless for a period of time, but surely he will just gain his powers back when his body starts synthesizing the compound again??
