عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ:
عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: "أَحَبُّ النَّاسِ إِلَى اللَّهِ أَنْفَعُهُمْ لِلنَّاسِ، وَأَحَبُّ الأَعْمَالِ إِلَى اللَّهِ سُرُورٌ تُدْخِلُهُ عَلَى مُسْلِمٍ، أَوْ تَكْشِفُ عَنْهُ كُرْبَةً، أَوْ تَقْضِي عَنْهُ دَيْنًا، أَوْ تَطْرُدُ عَنْهُ جُوعًا، وَلأَنْ أَمْشِيَ مَعَ أَخٍ لِي فِي حَاجَةٍ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِنْ أَنْ أَعْتَكِفَ فِي هَذَا الْمَسْجِدِ - يَعْنِي مَسْجِدَ الْمَدِينَةِ - شَهْرًا، وَمَنْ كَفَّ غَضَبَهُ سَتَرَ اللَّهُ عَوْرَتَهُ، وَمَنْ كَظَمَ غَيْظَهُ، وَلَوْ شَاءَ أَنْ يُمْضِيَهُ أَمْضَاهُ، مَلأَ اللَّهُ قَلْبَهُ رَجَاءً يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ مَشَى مَعَ أَخِيهِ فِي حَاجَةٍ حَتَّى يُثْبِتَهَا لَهُ، أَثْبَتَ اللَّهُ قَدَمَيْهِ يَوْمَ تَزُولُ الأَقْدَامُ." (رواه الطبراني وابن أبي الدنيا، وحسنه الألباني) ​Af-Somali ​Wuxuu ka wariyay Ibn Cabbas (R.A) in Nabi Muxammed (S.C.W) uu yidhi: "Dadka kuwaba Allaah ugu jecelyahay waa kuwooda ugu manfaatka/waxtarka badan dadka, shaqooyinka/camallada ugu jecel Allaah-na waa farxad aad geliso dad Muslim ah, ama aad ka qaaddo/bi'iso dhib, ama aad ka bixiso deyn, ama aad ka tarto baahi/gurmad shaqo. Inaan walaalkey u raaco u qabashada hajaad (dan/baahi) ayaa iga jecel inaan masjidyada kan (Masjidka Madiina) ku ictikaafo muddo bil ah. Qofkii ceshada cadhadiisa Allaah wuu asturaa ceebahiisa, qofkii hoos u dhiga xanaaqiisa isagoo awooda inuu fuliyo Allaah wuxuu ka buuxiyaa qulubkiisa rajo Maalinta Qiyaamada. Qofkii walaalkiis u raaca dan ilaa uu ugu dhaqan-galiyo (ugu qabto), Allaah wuxuu ka yeelayaa cagahiisa kuwo ku sabra/jooga Maalinta ay caguhu sibittamaan." ​English ​Narrated by Ibn 'Abbas (R.A), the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people. The most beloved of deeds to Allah is bringing joy to a Muslim, relieving his hardship, paying off his debt, or repelling his hunger. Walking with a brother to fulfill his need is more beloved to me than performing I'tikaf (seclusion) in this mosque—meaning the Prophet's Mosque in Medina—for a whole month. Whoever suppresses his anger, Allah will cover his faults. Whoever restrains his rage when he is able to act upon it, Allah will fill his heart with hope on the Day of Resurrection.
