I also would love to have more fmc protagonist in the shounen genre WITHOUT ANY (FORCED) ROMANCE (even tho I would prefer if there was no romance at all) just with companionship and adventures. Hate me for it but I wish the “Apothecary diaries” would not have romance in it or at least the implication. I think it would have been perfectly fine without romance

When I was a teen I specifically went looking for female mc in more action/adventure anime and ended up watching moribito and 12 Kingdoms. To this day they are some of my favourite anime

Guys, DanDaDan. I great example how do you write a good shonen with both female and male protagonists. And what do you mean the author read 100 romantic mangas just to get their romance right??

Even when male mangakas want to write female protagonists they are stopped by the publisher!! The manga for Dandadan wanted to have a female protagonist for the series but was forced by the editor and publisher to make it have a male protagonist so we got Okarun and Momo as duo protagonists.

y'all remember in the first 6 episodes of the S2 of "Oshi no Ko" where the characters were acting an action stageplay called "tokyo blade" with Arima being the main character? i want this shit to be a LEGIT 25 ep anime going this exact plot😭 the character she was playing would be a fan favorite shonen FMC😭😭
