Graduated with a 4.0 GPA, landed my first job in one of the highest acuity CVICU’s in the country and start in July! I shadowed 30 hours my last semester of school and made sure it was my dream job! Once I pass my NCLEX I’m gonna look at schools and prerequisites!

Sorry for the question—it's just a point of curiosity: if becoming a CRNA takes nearly 11 years to complete, why didn't you become an anesthesiologist instead, which takes 12 years?

Also let’s talk about how hard the CRNA program is. So hard in fact that the actual CRNA program STRONGLY advises that you do not work while going to school.
