But my question is… is it okay to let go of the church instead? It has come to the point where it feels toxic. I can’t focus on worshipping God in church because of the people. This church has been my whole life. From birth until now, this is where my faith in God was cultivated and where I grew in my walk with Him. They were the ones who taught me about God throughout my life. Right now, I’m unsure of what to do. But I am very sure of my faith

i wish i had the courage to stay 4 years ago despite the pain. i was disappointed, judged, discouraged, and misunderstood… so i left. but deep inside, i still miss serving God. i miss the music ministry. i miss worshipping with a heart on fire. i miss being used by Him. and now i’m here, wondering how to start again.

I’ve seen the unpleasant side of the church. I became a youth leader and a worship leader. Many times, I felt discouraged by the things I saw from the people around me, but I kept trying to stay okay. I was hurt and stumbled even because of some church leaders. Maybe my faith wasn’t strong enough, but I still tried to stand firm. Now, it’s painful because I can’t seem to rise again or find myself the way I used to. Maybe I truly lack faith. I hope you never experience the things that can weaken and break your faith. Just keep praying and continue trusting God.

True, I’ve been there. But you know what makes me stay? It’s my commitment to God. Even when I think about letting go, I simply cannot—this is my life. Serving Him is my life. After all, it is God who called me, and He is the One I serve. And it is only by His grace that we are able to stand firm in our faith. As a Youth Leader sa baryo namin. The next sunday will be the second Sunday na hindi na ako aattend sa Mass. Mas masakit pala talaga pag mismong pamilya mo yung nag judge sayo. "Every Sunday kang nasa simbahan pero ganyan ugali mo" 🥺 Truly, every active youth sa church, needs a supporting family.

This is such an important reminder. The church is made up of people who are still growing, still struggling, and still in need of grace. Sometimes people will disappoint us, but God's character never changes. If you've been hurt, your pain is real—but don't let the failures of imperfect people convince you to walk away from a perfect Savior.

The enemy works in many ways. It can destroy relationships, But let me remind you. The time you get closer to God and Try your best to be better , the enemy will try its best to destroy again the faith and relationship you built. The stronger and wiser you get, The harder the journey. It's never easy. But always pray, Tell the church what hurt you. We are all humans, we make mistake but always willing to be changed. Says in the bible, we can resolve the issue, that 2-3 gathered in his name, he will be in the middle of it. Kaya mo yan!!!

Many times, I’ve wanted to leave my church. I’ve been there since 4th grade, and it used to feel like home, but over time, the environment and some of the people have become toxic. I even stepped down from the worship team because of it. My close friends keep telling me not to leave because they would miss me, and honestly, I would miss them too. But sometimes I ask myself: is staying really worth it if I no longer feel God’s presence there anymore? Not everyone in the church is toxic, but enough experiences have made it hard for me to feel at peace.

People may fail you but God never will…that’s the best part, he is someone you can rely on, always set your life around him, if you are in a place, be it your church, your friends, your situation where you feel that you are getting away from him then find a ‘place’ where you feel close to him, because where he is closest is the biggest miracle and peace we could ever ask for…
